I'm energized and motivated by innovation and the art of bringing scalable startup ideas to life, whether through my own efforts or by supporting others.
My journey began at sixteen when I read Rich Dad Poor Dad. This book gave me an improved sense of internal locus of control and agency. It also gave me an ability to think creatively about business and combining talent through leadership.
When I began studying at Clemson University, I discovered my love for both finance and leading teams to build impactful products and services.
Through various ventures, I sharpened my approach to problem-solving when I joined Clemson's entrepreneurial incubator, Spiro Institute, where I created a digital marketing company and served organizations, such as Chick-fil-A, Marathon Gas Station, and Habitat for Humanity.
Later, I built a six member team around my venture, Overlap, a web application designed to solve problems around group coordination.
While at Clemson, I discovered that my core values are curiosity, grit, and integrity. Curiosity provides the map, grit helps me reach the destination, and integrity ensures I stay ethical along the way.
I am looking for opportunities to work in venture capital or in an angel network where I can assist startups in bridging the funding gap.
